ITA Preliminarily Finds Silicon Metal From Laos is Sold at Less Than Fair Value

WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration has preliminarily determined that silicon metal from the Laos is being, or is likely to be, sold in the U.S. at less than fair value (LTFV). This determination is a step in an ongoing investigation that covers the period of April 1, 2024, through March 31, 2025.

The investigation, which began with a notice of initiation on May 21, 2025, found an estimated weighted-average dumping margin . . .
