Prime Minister Albanese Affirms UK Ties, Discusses AUKUS and Middle East in London

WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 -- Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese addressed reporters in London on Sept. 26, 2025, following a series of meetings with world leaders. The prime minister affirmed the strong, shared values and security relationship between Australia and the United Kingdom, particularly citing the Australia, United Kingdom and U.S. agreement, and noted an agreement to further cooperation on critical minerals.
