WASHINGTON, Sept. 27 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs proposes a rule to revise its disability rating schedule. The proposed rule would add a clarifying note to Diagnostic Code 7804, which rates scars that are unstable or painful. The proposed change aims to provide more clarity for veterans and rating personnel by codifying an enduring requirement for objective evidence of pain when evaluating a painful scar.
