WASHINGTON, Sept. 27 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is amending its regulations for Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance (SGLI), Family SGLI (FSGLI) and Veterans' Group Life Insurance (VGLI) to allow an alternate applicant to seek an accelerated benefit under specific circumstances.
