WASHINGTON, Sept. 27 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Treasury Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau is removing regulations that applied to the 2009 tobacco product floor stocks tax.
The Treasury Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau is taking this deregulatory step because the regulations are no longer required, as the tax they implemented was due by Aug. 1, 2009. This move will remove 42 regulatory sections from the Treasury Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau . . .
