WASHINGTON, Sept. 26 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Food and Drug Administration has confirmed the effective date for a rule revoking 11 standards of identity for canned fruits and vegetable products no longer available in the U.S.
Published in the Federal Register on July 17, 2025, the direct final rule aims to eliminate unnecessary regulations that once ensured fair practices for consumers but now serve no purpose.
