HUD Waives Citizen Advisory Committee Rules for Texas

WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is waiving requirements for Texas's Community Development Block Grant mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funds. The waiver allows Texas to discontinue its citizen advisory committees, which were previously required to provide transparency and public input on the use of CDBG-MIT funds.
