U.S. Sugar Supply Lowered as Imports From Mexico Drop

WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 (TNSLrpt) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Economic Research Service has published its 'Sugar and Sweeteners Outlook: September 2025' report, number SSS-M-445, with Vidalina Abadam as coordinator. Approved by USDA's World Agricultural Outlook Board, the document was issued on September 18, 2025. The report indicates a reduced U.S. sugar supply for the 2025/26 fiscal year, primarily due to a substantial decrease in imports from Mexico.
