University of California-Santa Barbara Links Native American Remains, Artifacts to Santa Ynez Band

WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 (TNSFR) -- The University of California Santa Barbara campus has completed an inventory of Native American human remains and artifacts from Ventura County and Point Mugu in Los Angeles County, California, connecting them to the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Mission Indians. The inventory includes remains of at least 69 individuals and 479 objects.
