Agricultural Marketing Service Proposes Decreased Assessment Rate for California Dates

WASHINGTON, Sept. 12 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service is proposing a rule to decrease the assessment rate for domestic dates grown or packed in Riverside County, California. This would lower the rate from $0.15 to $0.05 per hundredweight for the 2024-2025 and subsequent crop years.
