Agricultural Marketing Service Proposes Revisions to Lemon Grade Standards

WASHINGTON, Sept. 12 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service is proposing revisions to the U.S. Standards for Grades of Lemons. The changes would incorporate the term "seedless lemons" and add marking requirements for lemons that meet the seedless definition.

The proposed revisions would establish a definition for seedless lemons to bring consistency to the industry. The Agricultural Marketing Service worked with California Citrus Mutua . . .
