Surface Transportation Board Approves Arkansas-Oklahoma Railroad's Lease Extension

WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 (TNSFR) -- The Surface Transportation Board has granted an exemption to Arkansas-Oklahoma Railroad Inc., Wilburton, to extend its lease with BNSF Railway Co. Inc., Fort Worth, Texas. The exemption covers a segment of rail line that spans approximately 10.658 miles, located on BNSF's Shawnee Industrial Spur in Shawnee. This action allows Arkansas-Oklahoma Railroad to continue its role as the operator of the rail line.
