WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Energy is further delaying the effective date of a direct final rule. This rule is entitled "Rescinding Regulations Related to Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Sex in Education Programs or Activities Receiving Federal Financial Assistance." DOE published the rule on May 16, 2025. It was previously set to become effective on September 12, 2025.
