WASHINGTON, Sept. 9 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of State is amending the International Traffic in Arms Regulations to reflect its current defense trade policy toward Cyprus.
The final rule suspends the status of Cyprus as a proscribed destination for the period from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026. This action continues a policy first enacted on October 1, 2022, which initially lifted a previous arms embargo.
