Ky. PSC: South Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative Implements Rate Increase Subject to Refund

WASHINGTON, Sept. 9 (TNSdok) -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission, Frankfort, has allowed South Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative Corp., Somerset, to put a rate increase into effect while the case is still under review. The action comes after the utility filed a notice to implement the proposed rates on September 1, 2025. This move is permitted under state law and subject to a potential refund to customers.
