WASHINGTON, Sept. 6 (TNSFR) -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is preparing an environmental impact statement (EIS) to assess the environmental effects of issuing a license for a uranium enrichment facility. The license application was submitted by Global Laser Enrichment LLC, Wilmington, North Carolina, for its proposed Paducah Laser Enrichment Facilit, located in McCracken County, Kentucky.
