WASHINGTON, Sept. 5 -- The U.S. State Department issued the following statement on Sept. 3, 2025, by Principal Deputy Spokesperson Thomas Pigott announcing sanctions against a China-based chemical company and its representatives for their role in manufacturing and distributing illicit opioids and chemical agents to the U.S.
