WASHINGTON, Sept. 5 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is considering petitions from two automobile manufacturers regarding a matter of vehicle safety standards. The petitions were filed by Cristales Inastillables de Mexico, Ecatepec de Morelos, and Volkswagen Group of America Inc., Reston, Virginia, over a labeling issue on certain model year 2022-2023 Volkswagen Taos vehicles.
