WASHINGTON, Sept. 4 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Railroad Administration is reviewing a request from the Norfolk Southern Corp. (NS), Atlanta, Georgia, to join a waiver of compliance from certain safety regulations. The request is for relief from specific rules for air brake system calibration and Class I brake tests on locomotives.
