EPA Finds New York State's Air Quality Plan Adequate

WASHINGTON, Sept. 4 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has determined that the limited maintenance plan for fine particulate matter (PM2.5) for the New York portion of the New York-Northern New Jersey-Long Island area is adequate for transportation conformity purposes. This finding relates to the second ten-year maintenance plan submitted by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation on October 15, 2024.
