WASHINGTON, Sept. 3 (TNSFR) -- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an immediate final rule for the Airbus A321-271NY aircraft to prevent the installation of several parts with known safety defects. The Airworthiness Directive (AD) aims to close a regulatory loophole for the newer jet model.
