WASHINGTON, Aug. 28 (TNSFR) -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has given its approval to the decommissioning plans for the spent fuel storage at the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (TMI-1). The decision came after a review of the financial plans submitted by two companies, Exelon Generation Co., Chicago, Illinois, and Constellation Energy Generation, Baltimore, Maryland.
