WASHINGTON, Aug. 28 (TNSFR) -- The Federal Communications Commission has issued a notice of proposed rulemaking aimed at easing obstacles for telecommunications providers seeking to enhance networks and adjust services. Adopted on July 24, 2025, and released the next day, the measure targets reductions in bureaucratic hurdles that slow investments in broadband deployment and shifts to IP-based systems, all while maintaining safeguards for emergency communications like 911.
