Consumer Safety Agency Ends Rulemaking on Public Disclosures

WASHINGTON, Aug. 28 (TNSFR) -- The Consumer Product Safety Commission has stopped a rulemaking process that would have changed its regulations on disclosures from the public.

A proposed rule, which was introduced in September 2023, aimed to require people presenting oral testimony, participating in legal proceedings, or submitting petitions for rulemaking to reveal their financial interests and corporate connections.
