WASHINGTON, Aug. 27 (TNSFR) -- The Federal Trade Commission is amending its telemarketing sales rule to update the fees charged to businesses for accessing the National Do Not Call Registry.
The change, which takes effect on October 1, 2024, is mandated by the Do-Not-Call Registry Fee Extension Act of 2007 and is tied to the consumer price index (CPI).
