WASHINGTON, Aug. 26 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is seeking public feedback on a request to let commercial trucks use a pulsating light system for roadside emergencies instead of traditional warning devices like reflective triangles or flares. The application, submitted by Emergency Safety Solutions, Houston, Texas, asks for a five-year waiver from current safety rules.
