FAA: Agri Spray Drones Seeks Relief for Festival Banner Flights

WASHINGTON, Aug. 26 (TNSFR) -- Agri Spray Drones LLC, Boonville, Missouri, has filed a petition with the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration to gain relief from several aviation regulations. The company aims to conduct banner-towing operations using its DJI FlyCart 30 unmanned aircraft system (UAS).

The petition seeks to allow the company to fly the drone, which has a maximum take-off weight of about 210 pounds, at altitudes of 200 feet or below. These . . .
