WASHINGTON, Aug. 25 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service has concluded that the Northern California-Southern Oregon distinct population of fisher does not require protection under the Endangered Species Act. After a comprehensive 12-month evaluation, the agency found that the species is not in danger of extinction at this time.
