WASHINGTON, Aug. 25 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration is reviewing a proposal to establish restricted airspace over South Padre Island, Texas.
The plan, submitted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, would allow for the deployment of an aerial surveillance platform to support homeland security and national defense operations. The proposed zones are designated as R-6319 A and B.
