WASHINGTON, Aug. 25 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Defense Defense Acquisition Regulations System has issued a final rule to adjust its acquisition-related thresholds for inflation, a move that happens every five years.
The changes, effective October 1, 2025, are based on the Consumer Price Index for all urban consumers. This adjustment is designed to maintain the buying power of the government and prevent inflation from triggering burdensome requirements on contracts.
