WASHINGTON, Aug. 24 (TNSFR) -- The Housatonic Museum of Art, Bridgeport, Connecticut, is making plans to repatriate 40 cultural artifacts to the Inupiat Community of the Arctic Slope. These items, which were donated to the museum over the past decade or so, are considered objects of cultural patrimony--meaning they have a deep, enduring importance to the Native American group.
