BLM Arizona State Office Completes Inventory, Prepares to Repatriate Remains to 5 Native American Tribes

WASHINGTON, Aug. 24 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management Arizona State Office has completed an inventory of human remains with a determination that a cultural connection exists with five Native American tribes.

The physical remains of six individuals, discovered at three sites in Cochise County, will be returned to the Ak-Chin Indian Community, Gila River Indian Community, Pascua Yaqui Tribe, Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, and the Toho . . .
