DES MOINES, Iowa, Aug. 22 -- The Iowa Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:

VENTURA - McIntosh Woods State Park is re-opening after a July 29 derecho storm caused significant tree damage at the park. The campground, boat ramp and fish cleaning station will all be open for public use starting today.
