Fish & Wildlife Service Weighs Two Permits for Alabama Beach Mouse Habitat

WASHINGTON, Aug. 22 (TNSFR) -- Two home construction projects in Baldwin County, Alabama, are under consideration by the U.S. Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service, which is reviewing permit applications that would allow for the accidental taking of the federally protected Alabama beach mouse. The public has an opportunity to comment on the proposals as part of the agency's process.

The requests are for a 50-year incidental take permit (ITP) under the Endangered . . .
