Federal Maritime Commission Revokes Exemption for APL

WASHINGTON, Aug. 22 (TNSdok) -- The Federal Maritime Commission has issued an order (Docket No. 25-22) that revokes an exemption previously held by American President Lines Ltd., Arlington, Virginia, and APL Co., Pte. Ltd., Singapore, together known as "APL." The order, titled "Revocation of Exemption From 46 U.S.C. Sec. 40703 Granted to American President Lines Ltd. and APL Co. Pte. Ltd.," was served on August 21, 2025.
