WASHINGTON, Aug. 21 (TNSFR) -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has denied a petition from several groups who alleged that the owners of the Palisades Nuclear Plant misused decommissioning funds. The groups, which includes Beyond Nuclear, Takoma Park, Maryland, Michigan Safe Energy Future and Don't Waste Michigan, claimed that Holtec Palisades LLC and Holtec Decommissioning International LLC, both located in Camden, New Jersey, spent money from the decommissioning trust fund on activities . . .
