DEA Revokes Dallas Physician's Controlled Substances Registration Amid Prescription Violations

WASHINGTON, Aug. 20 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration has revoked the controlled substances registration of Andrew Konen, a physician in Dallas, Texas, following findings that he issued improper prescriptions for opioids and other controlled drugs over several years.

The action stems from an Order to Show Cause issued in August 2024, alleging that Konen prescribed Schedule II through IV substances, including oxycodone, methadone, hydromorphone . . .
