WASHINGTON, Aug. 19 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation has ended a proceeding aimed at creating a toll-free hotline for air travelers. The rulemaking entitled "Notifying Air Travelers of DOT's Aviation Consumer Hotline" was withdrawn after legislative changes made the hotline unnecessary.
