Ky. PSC Puts Farmers Rural Electric Cooperative Rate Increase on Hold

WASHINGTON, Aug. 19 (TNSdok) -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission, Frankfort, has suspended an application (Case No. 2025-00221) from Farmers Rural Electric Cooperative Corp., Glasgow, Kentucky, to raise its rates. The cooperative filed its application on August 1, 2025, with the goal of passing along a wholesale rate adjustment from its supplier, East Kentucky Power Cooperative Inc., Winchester. The proposed rate increase was set to go into effect on September 1, 2025.
