American Massage Therapy Association Notifies Justice Department, FTC of Standards Work

WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 (TNSFR) -- The American Massage Therapy Association has filed papers with the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division and the Federal Trade Commission making its standards creation activities public.

The group's action is meant to invoke a provision in the National Cooperative Research and Production Act of 1993, which limits damages in antitrust lawsuits to actual losses under certain conditions.
