WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 (TNSFRinfo) -- The U.S. Department of the Treasury Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau is requesting public comment on its rules for applications, notices and permits related to importing and exporting distilled spirits, wine and beer, including from Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This initiative helps ensure that tax provisions of the Internal Revenue Code are applied correctly to these products.
