Ky. PSC Halts Rate Hike for Salt River Electric

WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 (TNSdok) -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission, Frankfort, has suspended a proposed rate adjustment by Salt River Electric Cooperative Corp., Bardstown, Kentucky, delaying any potential increase until at least January 31, 2026. The decision comes after the PSC also put a temporary halt on a related rate application from Salt River Electric's wholesale supplier, East Kentucky Power Cooperative Inc., Winchester.
