WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 (TNSoth) -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission was informed on June 6, 2025, by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control about a radiation safety incident in Lake City, South Carolina, involving NAN YA Plastics Corp. America, Livingston, New Jersey. The company reported that a fixed gauging device had malfunctioned, causing a sealed source to become stuck in an exposed position within a dip tube assembly.
