Maine PUC: United States Cellular Relinquishes Maine ETC Status

WASHINGTON, Aug. 15 (TNSdok) -- The Maine Public Utilities Commission, Augusta, has ordered that the designation of United States Cellular Corp., Chicago, Illinois, as an Eligible Telecommunications Carrier is relinquished. This decision, outlined in the order titled "United States Cellular Corporation: Relinquishment of ETC Designation" (Docket No. 2025-00067), follows the completion of a transaction in which T-Mobile acquired United States Cellular Corp.
