WASHINGTON, Aug. 14 (TNSFR) -- A final rule from the U.S. Department of Commerce Census Bureau aims to improve clarity and consistency for shipments that pass through the U.S. on their way to another country. The regulations, which take effect on September 15, 2025, are designed to make it easier to determine responsibility for export filings, particularly when goods are stored in a U.S. warehouse, a Foreign Trade Zone, or a bonded warehouse before their final departure.
