N.Y. PSC: State Seeks Public Comment on National Grid Power Line Rebuild

WASHINGTON, Aug. 14 (TNSDok) -- The New York Public Service Commission, Albany, is seeking public comment on a proposal from Niagara Mohawk Power Corp., Syracuse, New York, doing business as National Grid. The company has filed a petition for a "Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need" (Case No. 25-T-0152). If approved, the certificate would allow the company to rebuild approximately 16.3 miles of the 115 kilovolt Southeast Batavia-Golah 119 Transmission Line.
