Interior Department Amends Offshore Drilling Rules

WASHINGTON, Aug. 13 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement is updating its regulations for downhole commingling on the Outer Continental Shelf. This action aligns BSEE's review process for commingling requests with the requirements of the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" (OBBB), which was signed into law on July 4, 2025.
