Forest Service Implements Permanent Shooting Prohibition in Colorado

WASHINGTON, Aug. 13 (TNSFR) -- A permanent order prohibiting recreational shooting is being put into effect by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service. The order applies to an expanse of roughly 94,900 acres across parts of southern Clear Creek, northern Larimer, and Grand Counties in Colorado. The affected territory includes the Clear Creek, Canyon Lakes, and Sulphur Ranger Districts within the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests and the Pawnee National Grassland.
