WASHINGTON, Aug. 8 (TNSFR) -- The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is considering a proposal to alter how it defines larger participants in the consumer debt collection market.

The agency is asking for public information and comments to help determine if it should change the current test, which defines a larger participant as an entity with more than $10 million in annual receipts from debt collection activities.
