WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 (TNSFR) -- Savannah Industrial Logistics (SIL) and Savannah Industrial Transportation (SIT) have received authority to operate a rail line built in Effingham County, Georgia, issued by the Surface Transportation Board. The decision grants after-the-fact exemptions for the construction and subsequent operation of the rail line, which connects to the Norfolk Southern and CSX rail networks.
